Canned mushrooms from the shops. Which is better?

Squash the eggs six popular among Russian consumers of the brands tested in the laboratories of the Roskontrol. The test results are not encouraging: for food experts have called suitable only spawn one brand, five of the six samples was found to be full of nitrates.

In particular, the expertise held such manufacturers squash caviar as “Uncle Vanya”, Bonduelle Expert “VERES”, “Skatert-Samobranka”, “Pikant” and “Coswell”. These tests have shown: the actual zucchini in the eggs contains a little, but too high concentration of nitrates.

“In five samples the nitrate content exceeds the permissible value. Only the “Skatert-Samobranka” contains less nitrate,” – said in this regard, the head of the analytical Bureau of the expert center of Roskontrol Andrew Mosul.
Nitrates, or nitric acid salts is a fertilizer used for growing crops. The biggest problem with them is the transformation that the nitrates undergo when injected into the human body. In the digestive tract nitrates are converted into nitrites – substances that reduce the blood’s ability to carry oxygen. In increased amounts of nitrate have a negative impact on the cardiovascular and nervous system. Also they can turn into carcinogens.

According to experts, lovers of caviar from vegetable marrows it is safest to cook made with home-grown vegetables without chemicals.
