According to a study conducted by researchers from George Mason University in the United States, cosmetics and personal care products contain chemical substances that form dangerous compounds with the female sex hormones. As a result of these mergers develop breast cancer, experts say in the journal Environment International.
“Even relatively small amounts of chemicals from cosmetics, creams, lotions or shampoos are enough for levels of female hormones started to deviate from their normal values. “We found that the combination of parabens and bisphenol A leads to abnormal increase in the level of estradiol, and the cocktail of phenols, and benzophenone, on the contrary, reduces the secretion of this hormone” – said, in particular, the researchers.
