Green tea against cancer is helping or not?

A group of researchers from Britain came to the conclusion that matcha green tea has tremendous healing potential, making it effective for a wide range of therapies. Including, experts say, it can help in treating the commonest cancer is breast cancer.

“Low enough concentration of green tea varieties are match able to suspend the development of malignant breast cancer cells. The components of this tea inhibit oxidative mitochondrial metabolism”, – said, in particular, the authors, scientists from Salford University.
The researchers note that the molecular mechanism of action of this type of tea is poorly understood and needs more research. In their work, the experts used the technology of metabolic phenotyping. With its help they were able to determine that the matcha tea is depriving cancer cells the opportunity to get out of the body “fuel” for its growth in the form of nutrients, and they are then inactive and then die.

According to experts, the extract of tea is quite capable of replacing chemicals used in immunosuppressants like rapamycin that is used by oncologists to control the growth of metastasis of certain cancer cells.
