According to media reports, Russia has massively closed the clinic of plastic surgery, not withstanding pressure checks and new requirements for their work. The head of Roszdravnadzor Mikhail Murashko announced that the first closed those institutions for plastic surgery, which do not provide the proper level of service quality and patient safety.
Apparently, the clinic not only lose their licenses on the results of inspections, but also voluntarily give them up. Mikhail Murashko said that 15% of the licenses lost by the institutions – documents that were returned at the initiative of the clinics.
“Because they understand that inspections will not stand. They are not considered to date, according to order, safe,” – said the head of Roszdravnadzor
The official added that at the moment, tested more than 800 organisations providing services to a profile of plastic surgery. All will be checked 1.2 thousand clinics across the country.
Recall that these inspections were initiated by the Department on behalf of the Vice-Premier of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova after a number of deaths that occurred during the procedures ecstatic appearance correction. Since the beginning of 2018 have already been six deaths related to plastic surgery. By early September, the health Ministry has already reported on the results of its inspections. The Ministry then said that the violations were identified in 67% of “beauty clinic”.
This year, the health Ministry has implemented more stringent requirements for the work of the Russian plastic surgeons. Evaluating this innovation, the experts noted that the tightening of the rules in the first place will hurt the clients of plastic surgeons. According to them, prices for procedures will increase dramatically, the level of execution of the operations will remain the same.
