Resveratrol is found not only in red wine. This is one of the most well-studied anti-cancer compounds, and it actually inhibits the cells that produce cancer. Resveratrol is rich in the skins of red grapes. And red and purple grapes contain other powerful antioxidants – anthocyanins and catechins.

Freeze grapes in small plastic sealed bags and you will get a cold and refreshing snack. Roasted grapes are filled with caramel sweetness, ideal for salads, fried chicken, or products made from whole grains. Red grapes are available year round, but you can purchase it over the summer from a local producer, and much cheaper.

WALNUT

It is sometimes called “super nut” walnuts contain almost twice as much antioxidants than other popular nuts. Walnuts have a high content of alpha-linolenic acid – essential fatty acids, the use of which reduces the risk of colon cancer.
