This forecast was made by research specialists of the Institute of metrics and evaluation health in Seattle (USA). They estimated life expectancy will increase in almost all countries of the world – it will be noticeable by 2040.
In a press release on MedicalXpress, the experts noted that the increase in life expectancy is due to the trend of improving global health. According to them, while maintaining this trend, “the average life expectancy in 158 countries will increase for several years, and in 46 countries over ten years.”
Scientists predict that countries with the highest life expectancy will be Spain (here, as expected, the people will live on average at 85.8 years), Japan (85.7 years) and Singapore (85.4 years). The average life expectancy in Russia by 2040, according to their calculations, would be between 75 and 77 years.
Note that not all researchers foresee a growth duration of human life on Earth. More skeptical-minded scientists accept the probability of pessimistic scenario, that is, that live people will be less – and at least half of the countries. In their opinion, this will happen in connection with the growth of infections on the background of antibiotic resistance and the increasing number of non-communicable diseases – diabetes, cancer, abnormalities of the heart and blood vessels, Alzheimer’s disease.
Earlier Magicforum wrote about the fact that scientists had determined the main principle of longer life, which they associated with adequate intake of necessary vitamins, minerals and other substances.
