Medications from high blood pressure doubles the risk of foot amputations in patients with type II diabetes. Note that this risk for diabetics and already faces more often than all other people.
If patients with diabetes of the second type are taking medication to lower blood pressure, they are more than twice the risk of amputations of limbs. Receiving diuretics or medicines for withdrawal of body fluids increases the risk of various problems with feet and legs, as the study showed. Note that diureticsthat belong to a class of diuretics, are usually the first assigned patients who have been diagnosed with high blood pressure or hypertension. The fact that water causes the body to retain sodium, it increases blood pressure.
The problem becomes even more acute due to the fact that the victims of diabetes and already at increased risk of problems with feet and legs, which is the risk of amputations increases.
