All that is sweet is usually considered harmful, but the Japanese scientists from Tokyo University have established that there is a sweet product that can improve the condition of the liver. This product they think is maple syrup.
The researchers conducted an experiment with rats. In the diet of animals is part of the usual carbs were replaced with maple syrup. For comparison with them kept a control group in which the rodents also ate a sweet syrup, but do not contain in its composition substances, typical for maple.
