Green tea is good for bones

The experts of Peking University said that green tea is very good for bones because it promotes their greater strength. Daily tea consumption by 12% reduces the risk of fractures, revealed by their study.

“Regular consumption of green tea is beneficial to bone density, making them stronger and reducing the risk of fractures,” stated University employees.
In favor of this opinion is indicated by the results of data analysis related to the lifestyle and health of more than 450 thousand people. Experts were able to ensure that people who drank green tea for over 30 years, much less experienced in the retirement age with fractures compared to those who do not drink such tea.

“Those who drank green tea at the time of the study, and those who drank it for 30 years, the number of cases of femur fractures was lower by 20% and 30% respectively,” found the authors of the study.
According to recent studies, the beneficial properties of green tea are related to the maintenance of a very large number of organic compounds – vitamins, antioxidants and microelements, including fluorine, calcium, magnesium. On average people who drank green tea, the risk of fracture was 12% lower than those who skimped on its use, verified by scientists.
