Be sure to follow the ABCDE rule of moles and mother

The former footballer was so fortunate that someone has pointed out to be eye-catching birthmark. In order to detect abnormalities in good time, you can take the ABCDE rule to help, to assess the characteristics of your moles:

  • A stands for asymmetry: Benign moles are round and symmetrical. Asymmetrical shapes are striking.
  • B stands for the limit: The limit of a nevus should be sharp. Jagged or irregular boundary, so if light and dark skin flat to each other, are delicate.
  • C stands for Color, or color: the Normal is a uniform color. Ethnically and religiously mixed or dark birthmarks, however, are more likely to be suspicious.
  • D is for diameter: moles of a size of more than 5mm or growing moles give reason for caution. Melanoma can, however, be quite small.
