Four psychological types of people

A large-scale study involving nearly 1.5 million people motivated American psychologists to create a new typology of the person, reported in the journal Nature of Human Behaviour. Scientists have divided people into four personality type: the first open, second closed, the third and fourth self-centered – a role model.

“A new typology was created based on the so-called ‘big five’ key personality characteristics. This, in particular, benevolence, extraversion, neuroticism, conscientiousness and openness to experience,” talked about the development of the authors, representing northwestern University.
In the course of its investigation, psychologists have found that people belonging to the first type of personality, demonstrate high levels of neuroticism and extraversion, however, they had difficulty mastering something new, changing the familiar environment of their injures. For the second type of personality is characterized by a significant exposure – these people have low level of neuroticism and median ratios of goodwill and awareness.

The representatives of the third type are egocentric, the lights can be as strong extroverts, and Vice versa, differ low extraversion. As for the fourth type, the personal data have high values on all items, with the exception only of neuroticism.

The psychologists added that women often make up the fourth type – “role model”. In addition, scientists have observed a trend: it appears that everywhere among people is greater than those who belong to the third type is self-centered. For egocentric people to the detriment of everything else increased extraversion, the researchers noted.
