Who would like to slim down a few Kilos, pay attention to a low-calorie diet and exercise regularly. Most people forget, however, a crucial factor: sufficient sleep plays an important role. This is demonstrated by researchers at the King’s College in London.

The British Team of eleven can sleep examined studies with a total of 172 participants. The result of the analysis: After a particularly short night’s sleep, subjects tended to opt for fatty foods. They had only spent about 3.5 to 5.5 hours in bed. A much healthier food choice met however, those test persons who had had seven to twelve hours of sleep.
