Spring is really and truly here. Elizabeth Hurley says so. She proclaimed the seasonal shift in a way only she can: wearing a bikini top. She’s no meteorologist, but her abs look ready to chase down any storm in that bright red string bikini.
Liz’s feed is full of epic bikini selfies (in which she’s modeling her eponymous bikini collection, natch). This new pic, captioned “Spring has sprung #stayhome 😘,” comes after a winter drought of bikini snaps, and she looks fitter than ever. This is a good time to remind you Elizabeth is 54.
So, how does the 50-plus model and actress stay in such great shape? Well, Elizabeth previously told Women’s Health that her secret to staying fit comes down to three small things: “Making more time for exercise, eating nutritious foods, and taking the time to do relaxing activities.”
Elizabeth also avoids processed foods, even going so far as to grow her own food when her son was little. “All through summer we eat fruit and vegetables from my own garden,” she told The Cut. “I used to have a small organic farm, and all the meat my son ate was from the farm. Obviously, that’s not possible for most people, but supporting local farmers wherever you live is a good thing.”
Gardening doubles as a sweat sesh, and Elizabeth is all about found fitness. She told Extra that gardening is her main form of exercise, like “cutting down a hedge, using my chainsaw to cut down a tree, logging, all of that stuff I do. So, I’m very active.”
It’s not weird if it works, amiright? Clearly, it is working for Liz.
