After the application of tattoos can develop dangerous to human life diseases, including cancer. About the dramatic consequences of tattoos made, said the scientists from Moscow scientific-practical center of Dermatovenereology and cosmetology. Their work is dedicated to the publication in magazine “Modern problems of science and education”.
In particular, Russian companies Elena Kovtunov said that after applying the tattoo may develop a Staphylococcus aureus – an infection caused by bacteria is extremely resilient, and able to provoke the appearance of such diseases as adenoiditis, purulent tonsillitis, pneumonia, pericarditis, conjunctivitis, prolonged diarrhea, and others. According to Kovtunova, Staphylococcus aureus can develop in the case, if the owner of a fresh tattoo is not caring for it properly.
In addition, the expert noted, one of the most unpleasant risks undermine health due to made tattoos associated with hepatitis C infection, as a rule, failure to comply with the sterility. Hepatitis C is the most severe form of viral hepatitis and is particularly dangerous in the chronic form, which often goes into cirrhosis and liver cancer. Moreover, chronic hepatitis develops in about 70% of people who recover from acute hepatitis.
Medical practice suggests that people with tattoos are at increased risk of infection with hepatitis, especially those with tattoo filled e large areas of skin.
“Scientists conducted a large study analysed 124 scientific works from 30 countries – and revealed a direct link between the number of tattoos on the human body and the development of hepatitis C,” said in this regard, the dermatologist Elena Kovtunov.
In addition, tattoo artists often use pink-red mercury mineral cinnabar – this pigmentirovanie irritation and may cause allergic reactions. Tattooing on the skin with lots of moles may be more likely to contribute to the development of a variety of skin cancer, like melanoma, also warned the doctors.
