9 Stunning Beauty Moments From Blackpink's Brand-New Music Video

After fans of Korean girl group Blackpink waited two long years for them to release more than just a single, Square Up dropped today with a new music video to go with it. Just as the ones that came before it, "Ddu-Du Ddu-Du" is chock-full of stunning hair and makeup moments.

To put the makeup in "Ddu-Du Ddu-Du" simply, Lisa's winged-liner looks alone were enough to make an Instagram makeup artist cry tears of joy. Jennie brought the fantasy of that mean girl on My Super Sweet 16 that you both fear and respect. Rosé looked like the princess of some country no one has ever heard of, but is helping boost tourism with her popular Instagram account. And Jisoo, well, she looked like Breakfast at Tiffany's Holly Golightly — if she were the CEO of a Fortune 500 company.

Keep scrolling for a closer look at nine best beauty moments from Blackpink's brand-new music video for "Ddu-Du Ddu-Du."

1. Lisa's negative-space liner

About 10 seconds into "Ddu-Du Ddu-Du," Lisa stole my heart with her disconnected flicks. They are what Instagram winged liner dreams are made of. Of all the beauty looks featured in the music video, this is the easiest one to recreate. Start off by drawing a black liquid liner like the Wet n Wild MegaSlim Skinny Tip Eyeliner along your lash line. Next, bring the line outward toward the tails of your brows to create thin wings. Then, draw a line starting from the ends of the flicks going inward toward the creases of your eyes.

2. Jennie's purple ponytail

Just when I thought unicorn hair was about to be eclipsed by muted, earthy tones, Jennie brought it back with a long, lilac ponytail.

3. Rosé's monochromatic red moment

With her coordinating red hair, makeup, and outfit, Rosé could have easily looked like she was celebrating Valentine's Day eight months early with this over-the-top look. But she made all that red work. I need to know what lipstick her makeup artist used ASAP. My educated guess is it's Yves Saint Laurent's Tatouage Couture Liquid Matte Lip Stain in Rouge Tatouage.

4. Jisoo's sleek, wet hair

Slicked-down hair like Jisoo's is difficult to pull off, but the singer made it work without it looking too severe by keeping her brows natural and makeup glowy.

5. Lisa's glitter liner

If you blinked, you might have missed the rapper's glitzy pink winged liner. I appreciate how her makeup artist gave the shape more definition by drawing paper-thin black lines along the outer corners of Lisa's eyes. This weekend, I'm trying out this look with the Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner in Grind.

6. Jennie's pearl-studded nails

Nail art is forever a Blackpink music video staple, and "Ddu-Du Ddu-Du" did not disappoint. Jennie's nails were topped with sparkly clear tips with pearls glued all over them. Park Eunkyung, who's better known as @nail_unistella on Instagram, has done the group's nails in the past, and I have a feeling this look is her handiwork, too.

7. Jisoo's pink bob and shadow

Am I the only one who wishes Jisoo would actually cut her hair into this blunt bob and dye it bubblegum pink? Her eye shadow matched the wig perfectly. It reminds me of the shades in the new Huda Beauty Rose Gold Remastered Eyeshadow Palette.

8. Rosé's half-up topknot

The singer went fully fuchsia with this look, which was complete with mini bun on the top of her head.

9. Lisa's dramatic wings

You know those days when your thick, bold wings are an accidental product of trying to get your liner perfectly symmetrical and even? Lisa validated that look with this Ariana Grande-esque moment and paired it with a fun peach lipstick.
