Researchers over 12 years conducted surveillance of a group of 3,500 people who had put a condition to read regularly books. Thus it was found that daily half-hour reading improves cardiovascular system and also give other positive effects associated with longevity.

“Read for at least 30 minutes a day for 23% reduce the risk of early death” – told the authors of the project.
Scientists attribute observed their effect of preventing an early death because reading books makes people more resistant to stress. According to them, when immersed in reading after a few minutes in the body reduces the level of stress, relaxes muscles, improves heart rate.
