To its decision researchers have come, having received the data analysis, which involved a combination of advanced microscopy techniques. Experts were able to see the structure of kidney stones at the scale of several hundred nanometers and understand how it formed in the kidney stone.
“The embryo is formed from sleepy crystals of calcium oxalate, which is then covered layer by layer with additional levels of organic matter and oxalate. The growth of the layers can break down and then re-filled with new layers”, – told the authors of the project.
