Scientists from the University of Arizona (USA) were able to determine the threat to human health subject that can be found in almost any home. As such was the sponge for washing dishes.

At the same time in Germany, the study yielded even more disappointing results. Conducted its experts stated, that one cubic centimeter foam sponge for washing dishes lives less than 20 billion microorganisms, including microorganisms that cause meningitis and pneumonia.
“The bacteria live and reproduce, not so much on the surface as in the pores of the foam,” said the researchers.
They recommend to change the sponge at least once a week.
