Hair loss treatment – the fruit juice that could stimulate hair growth at home

Hair loss can be a natural part of the ageing process, and most of the time, it’s nothing to worry about. We can even lose up to 100 hairs on our bodies every day, without even noticing. But you could prolong the life of your locks by regularly using lemon juice as an oil for your scalp, it’s been revealed.

Lemon juice is an easy and natural way to stimulate hair growth, according to medical website Healthline.

They’re rich in vitamin C, which is key to increasing the speed of hair growth.

The vitamin encourages the production of collagen, which subsequently leads to hair growth.

Lemon juice also helps to clean your scalp and lower your risk of dandruff.

“Your hair is said to be your crowning glory, and it’s normal to want to improve your hair if it’s not to your satisfaction,” it said.

“If you’re trying to regrow hair that you’ve lost, or would simply like to improve the hair that you have, try some of these natural remedies.

“You can use fresh lemon juice or lemon oil since they are said to enhance hair quality and growth.

“Lemon oil can help you to maintain a healthy scalp and encourage hair growth.”

If you decide to use lemon juice on your hair, you can apply it yourself at home.

Simply spread the juice across your scalp, mixing it in and around your hair, around 15 minutes before using shampoo in the shower.

Onion juice could also help to prevent hair loss, it’s believed.

The juice contains sulphur, which may play a role in hair regrowth.

Onions also contain antioxidants known as flavonoids, which protect the body from damaging free radicals.

Free radicals are believed to contribute to the ageing process, and could lead to hair thinning, or even loss of hair entirely.

Meanwhile, massaging the top of your head is also believed to stimulate hair growth, according to Japanese scientists.

Men that used a head massager for just four minutes per day could increase the volume of their hair within six months, they said.
