Diabetes can be predicted by this fungal infection

There are a considerable number of the classical symptoms of type II diabetes. But this common fungal infection can be an early warning signal.

Diabetes is a disorder in which the blood dramatically increase glucose levels or sugar. In Russia, diabetes affects about 9 million people. Of these, 90% have type II diabetes, and the remaining 10% with insulin – dependent diabetes of the first type. In the second type of the disease the pancreas does not produce enough insulin or the body cells do not respond to this hormone. Diabetes of either type divides approximately the same symptoms, but there are signs of it belonging to the second variety of the disease.

One of these signs is a constantly recurring candidiasis or thrush. This is a very common fungal infection that is usually well cured through antifungal drugs. Thrush is traditionally considered a female problem, but a candidiasis can be diagnosed in men. Usually the symptoms of this infection pass on their own within a week after one dosage of the medication or daily use cream. However, if you can’t cure thrush, it could be something more serious, like diabetes. That’s why it is better to go to the doctor to the clinic to get the right diagnosis.

A yeast infection in women manifests itself with a white discharge which is usually do not smell, itching and irritation in the vaginal area, pain and discomfort during sex and urination. Men candidiasis is manifested by irritation, burning and redness around the glans and under the foreskin, white discharge, bad odor and difficulty in pulling back the foreskin of the glans penis.
