The presence of brothers and sisters will help to reduce the risk of cancer. The evolutionary study showed that people with large families face less tumors.
Support the cult of the great families of the country have a low incidence of cancer, as shown by a new evolutionary study. Living in groups has long been very important to the human race for a variety of reasons, many of which are obvious, but many are not. One of the not so obvious reasons and identified by the researchers: people who have brothers and sisters, aunts, uncles and lots of children thereby reduce the risk of serious diseases, including cancer. Researchers from Switzerland and Australia have only taken information from the UN by the average number of families in different countries, and then compared it with statistics on the incidence of tumors.
The authors of the report believe that there are other factors that affect protection against cancer, but a key element in this regard may be surrounded by emotional relatives, which produces a positive effect in reducing the risk of diseases. The researchers emphasize that from an evolutionary perspective, cancer is an interesting disease because the incidence is increasing. That is why scientists wanted to find out what can be done and what factors should be considered for those who would like to reduce the likelihood of cancer.
Observations have shown that the presence of large families is particularly useful in reducing the risk of brain tumors, bladder, lung, stomach, breast, ovarian, colon, cervical and malignant melanoma. For women, however, the results of this study should not be too surprising. Science has long proven that multiple pregnancy increases the risk of breast cancer, but at the same time reduce the probability of other tumors. (READ MORE)
