Revaz Bochorishvili, the famous surgeon of France, conducted the operation that will help women to get pregnant. The operation took place on the basis of the Carpathian centre of human reproduction (Ivano-Frankivsk), and was broadcast in the conference room for doctors from all over Ukraine.
Despite the complexity of the operations for the treatment of infertility, according to the surgeon, the likelihood that the patient will get pregnant really increases:
When the patient has a desire to get pregnant, everything is always difficult. And we must try to preserve everything, to restore everything, as not to damage anything and not to make the situation worse. Therefore, the operation is complicated. The objective of these operations was to improve the fertility of patients, and it seems to me that all that we have done them much good. And they will have pregnancy and children.
Revaz Bochorishvili – doctor of medicine, head of the International centre for endoscopic gynecology and surgery CICE (Clermont Ferrand, France). He is recognized in Europe and world expert in the field of endoscopy in gynecology, a virtuoso surgeon, who has mastered the technique of laparoscopy and performs the full scope of surgical interventions of any complexity in gynecology using a laparoscopy.
Operations were carried out on modern equipment. We will remind that in may the new building of the Carpathian centre of human reproduction opened an innovative operational and two floors of Department of assisted reproductive technologies with equipment of the European standard. At the moment, this is the only government hospital with such equipment.

According to the chief physician of the center of Igor Golovchak, to a medical facility annually treats about 3,000 pairs, and surgeons perform about 600 operations.
Our institution has been running for over 20 years. The need for such operations does exist, and, unfortunately, the number and percentage of couples who can’t conceive a child, every year, not only does not decrease, but increases slightly.
Six operations conducted by Revaz Bochorishvili in Ivano-Frankove, was held in the framework of his two-day master class, the theme of which was the Restoration and improvement of fertility in gynecological operations. Discussed such issues as:
- Endometriosis and reproductive function
- Uterine fibroids and fertility
- Laparoscopic treatment of endometriosis
- Surgical treatment of fibroids of the uterus
- Ectopic pregnancy
- Torsion of uterine appendages
- Laparoscopic surgery in the pathology of the fallopian tubes
