The authors of the experiment believe that the same applies to the human brain – if necessary independently “suppresses” noise. This ability provides people the opportunity to learn language or to play musical instruments, experts say.
In particular, during the experiment, the animals fled to the simulator included for listening to audio, which was played to the beat of their steps, and thereby endowed with the usual animal movement a completely new sound. But pretty soon the cerebral cortex of animals ceased to respond to this stimulus, the brain began to suppress the unnatural and disturbing sound.
