The woman lives with the “lobster claws” instead of hands and feet


The Daily Mail has shared an amazing story of older British women who was born with a rare genetic anomaly that made her hands and feet like lobster claws. Despite their “feature” this woman is not cut off from the world, but, on the contrary, lived all his life very active and became a mother.

Recently the heroine of the publication, 94-year-old resident of East Sussex went to the hospital in connection with the urinary tract infection. On this patient immediately drew attention, as she suffered from ectrodactyly, a congenital defect that manifests itself in deformation of the hands and feet.

Many were struck by how cheerful was the woman with the “lobster claws”. According to an elderly lady, she never burdened by underdevelopment of his limbs and lived without assistance. She raised a son and even learned how to knit, and then regular knit things for my family members. Unusual the patient added that she has brothers and sisters, son and three grandchildren – none of the many relatives no physical defects. That is a big family and support of her family helped her to perceive their pathology no more than “some features”. In addition, the older Briton had from his early youth working to help his family and earn a living – she could not afford to suffer because of his disability.
