Distributed in the United States the disease has no cure

In the US, increasing incidence of acute flaccid myelitis is a disease that until recently was considered very rare. The illness resembles polio, it affects the nervous system. Drugs for the treatment of this disease does not exist.

The Center for control and disease prevention say that the cause of most cases remains unclear, despite the efforts of the technicians to identify the morphology. Presumably the possible factors of the disease doctors believe viruses, toxins and genetic disorders.

Cases of acute flaccid myelitis was already in 22 States. The disease affects children, the average age of patients was four years. Experts ‘ forecasts are disappointing: they are convinced that the disease will continue its spread.
