A blood test will feature “the owl” from “the lark”

Scientists have developed a blood test that can tell whether a person is “owl” or “lark.” With this diagnostic tool you can work miracles with health.

Potentially fatal disease related to our internal clock, can be avoided through a simple blood test. Researchers from the Northwestern University in Chicago have identified a link between circadian disorders and diabetes, obesity, depression, heart disease and asthma. Scientists have developed a blood test called TimeSignature, which can tell the time inside the body. The researchers found that some of the internal built-in clock people synchronized with real time, but others do not match, and therefore, human health is threatened. A mismatch of circadian rhythms with real leads to diseases and poor health.

Such diseases include cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and dementia. But thanks to the opening of the American scientists the likelihood of their development is much reduced. All processes in our body are controlled by internal biological clock associated with different rhythms, like sleep cycles and waking. In the study, this algorithm was used to extract the blood of the subjects every two hours for accurate measurements of the presence of certain genes. This allowed the researcher to train the computer to predict the time of day, in which there are specific genetic combinations.

Of the 20 000 genes were folded in 40 different combinations that can be easily identified using the new blood test. And thanks to him people will know whether it is the classic “owl” or “lark”, appropriately changing the lifestyle. This will allow in the future to protect yourself from a lot of the most severe and dangerous diseases. (READ MORE)
