Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is a girl dad through and through, and sometimes that means embracing the messy side of life. His latest Instagram post shows the wild game he enjoys with his daughters, and we’ve never seen a dad more committed to their child’s pranks.
“Another ‘daddy close your eyes’ game I got suckered into,” the Player 54: Chasing the XFL Dream star wrote on Instagram. “You’d think by now this fool would’ve learned his lesson? 🤣🙋🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️ #daddycloseyoureyes 🫣💀.”

In the video, his 7-year-old daughter Jasmine “Jazzy” grabs a paper plate filled with flour and throws it at her dad’s head, completely covering him in the white powdery substance from the top of his bald head down his face and shoulders. He reacts by cracking up laughing, which is so sweet to see.

He’s a Fool for His Daughters
In Oct. 2022, the Black Adam star told PEOPLE that he’s a “fool” for his daughters, Jazzy and Tia “Gia” Giana, 4, who he shares with wife Lauren Hashian.
“My superpower as a dad is the ability to not figure out why I keep falling for the ‘Daddy close your eyes’ trick and I get peanut butter in the face, my face drawn on, kicked in the nuts,” he said.
“Everything happens, that’s my superpower. I’m a fool,” he added. “I don’t understand why I don’t get it.”
Last month, he even let his daughters give him a makeover (featuring tons of pretty pink face makeup!).

Some People Weren’t Too Happy
Despite the clear love The Rock has for his youngest daughters (and his oldest daughter Ava Raine, 21, with Dany Garcia), some people think he needs to set more boundaries when it comes to prank time.
“Throwing stuff in daddy’s face should stop now. They’re getting older and bigger and shouldn’t find it funny to be hitting daddy,” one person wrote.
“I don’t think it is a respectful action at all, not funny,” another wrote.
Someone else judged, “A great dad should also teach boundaries. Some games are not respectful of elders. You are their father not their mascot.”
Others disagreed. “You’re one of the best dads in the world ❤️?,” one person commented.
“It’s not that you haven’t learnt your lesson, its that you do anything to make your kids laugh ?,” someone else said. Exactly! Being silly with your kids is perfectly fine, and it’s clearly a sweet bonding experience between dad and daughters, so leave him alone!

The Rock Loves His Daughters
One thing’s for sure: The Rock loves his daughters. In an Aug. 2022 Instagram post, he wrote about his youngest daughter that she has “Absolutely zero idea how much her love and kindness means to her daddy.”
He added, “One day years from now, hanging out in daddy’s office and sitting on my lap will be the LAST PLACE she’ll want to be ? So I’ll be greedy and take it while I can get it.”
He’s just soaking up those precious moments as often as he can, and it’s an act of true love. The messiness is worth those precious giggles!
