Hunger makes people angry for this reason

Hunger really makes a person evil, as the study showed. Researchers have found a link between mood and food intake that can help in the treatment of depression.

The feeling of anger that arises in a moment of hunger, is not something invented – a consequence of metabolism. Our body relies on the fat and glucose – the simple carbohydrates that contain a single sugar. The feeling of hunger is warning that the blood is lacking glucose. Hunger accompanied by weakness, dizziness and tremor, all symptoms of low blood sugar or blood glucose. Hungry Rastragaloside or aggression is also a symptom, as shown by research scientists from the canadian University of Guelph. They found that irritability in a state of hunger is a signal of deeper connections between proper meal times and mood.

The most recent study on this subject was not originally designed to study the phenomenon of hungry aggression. The study was carried out in the framework of a large project of canadian scientists aimed at a deeper study of depression. The authors tried to study this mental disorder from different directions. In particular, it was interesting to learn about the connection between sugar, the reward system of the brain and metabolic stress. The researchers decided to answer the question about whether metabolism affect mood disorders. To obtain this answer, they stimulated the hunger in mice by injection of drugs, which did not allow them to metabolize glucose, causing hunger.

Pretty soon the behavior of the mice changed. Scientists have noted two factors: mice showed a lower level of energy, they are sometimes more difficult to move, and in rodents it was observed an increased rate of aggression and irritability. All this was due to the lack of nutrients in the body. (READ MORE)
