Love Island is heating up – and so are the contestants.
On last night’s episode, viewers were stunned to see Curtis and Amy getting down and dirty as fellow Islanders slept beside them.
We’ve also seen Maura flirting up a storm and performing a kinky act on an ice lolly.
So is there a reason why the ITV2 stars are so frisky?
According to sexpert Annabelle Knight, Islanders are likely to bonk in the villa.
This is because many are randy due to the environment they’re living in.
The love guru told Daily Star Online: “For a start, the sun is a great aphrodisiac.
“Lovehoney research shows that we have more sex when the sun is shining, with sexual activity peaking in the months of June, July and August.
“It’s not hard to figure out why – the weather is warmer and we’re wearing fewer clothes.
“Everyone feels sexier, especially with a tan, and you instinctively feel happier and more positive when the weather is good and the sun is shining.”
It’s not just contestants who are getting hot and heavy, viewers at home are too.
Previously, sexpert Annabelle said the reality TV show is making the nation feel friskier.
She explained that watching feel-good telly triggers the production of endorphins in the body.
These feel-good chemicals put you in the right mind frame to get down and dirty.
The love guru explained: ‘’Love Island will do wonders for Brits’ sex lives!
“The show is all about hot young people getting it on in paradise – it’s the ultimate feel-good TV.”
Apparently, Love Island can also open up sexy conversations between you and your partner.
The relationship expert believes it’s fun to talk about who you find attractive in the villa.
All those secret kisses and steamy bedtime cuddles are bound to get you in the mood too.
Annabelle added: “The show is designed to be watched with your partner while you argue about who’s hot and who’s not.
“I cannot think of a better prelude to sex.
“Forget Netflix-and-chill – for the next month or so, it is definitely Love Island-and-chill.’’
