It was found, in some cases, probiotics can cause harm to the human body when consumed with other drugs. The study was conducted on the basis of the Israeli Institute Weizmann.
Two studies were conducted. In the first research experience was involved 15 volunteers, five men took a placebo, while others used probiotic drugs for 3 weeks. The result was that only six people about probiotic microorganisms can gain a foothold, and the rest not.
The purpose of the second study was to investigate the influence of beneficial bacteria after taking antibiotics. In this research the experiences of people who participated in the study within 7 days were used the antibiotics, then they were divided into three groups. The first group was given for the use of probiotics, the second group received nothing, and the third group of subjects had consumed probiotics, derived from the excrement. In the end, we got the following results.
Volunteers from the third group recorded the recovery of the intestinal microflora faster after taking antibiotics. On the original second place was the second group of volunteers. The first group of people had the lowest readings. Scientists have noted that people who consumed probiotics, as long it wasn’t “native” microflora in the intestine has changed genetic activity. This can increase the risk of development of inflammatory processes and allergies.
Scientists believe that after a course of antibiotics probiotics interfere to restore the microbiome of the intestine, thereby resulting in the active phase of inflammatory processes in the intestine.
Probiotics are a class of microorganisms and substances with microbial or other origin. They are used for therapeutic purposes in food as a biologically active food supplements (dietary supplements), having in its composition live microculture.
