The journal Environmental Science Technology has published the data obtained in the study of scientific experts from Korea. They found that almost all of the salt purchased by the visitors of the supermarkets, contains micro-particles of plastic.
Conducted analyses of samples of salt from 39 manufacturers showed that 36 of them are plastic particles. The highest concentration of micro-particles of plastic have different salt of marine origin. Stone and lake salt according to the degree of contamination of that substance was in second and third place respectively.
