For the first time in human excreta found plastic

Scientists have given a new disturbing evidence of the penetration of microparticles of plastic in living organisms. Within scientific research, writes about the journal United European Gastroenterology Journal, scientists first discovered plastic particles in the secretions of people.

The authors of this paper are of medical University of Vienna (Austria). They studied how dietary habits and composition of their excrement. As voluntary participants in the project were invited the inhabitants of Italy, Japan, Poland, Holland, Russia, UK, Finland and Austria – a total of eight people aged 33 to 65 years. All volunteers were considered healthy and did not suffer dependencies.

The analysis of the content of the chair of these subjects showed that it contains micro-plastic particles with a size from 50 to 500 micrometers. We also found out that all the volunteers in the observation period drinking water from plastic bottles and eat food from plastic containers.

According to experts, not only plastic containers could cause the ingestion of micro-particles of plastic. The organism of animals and poultry, seafood, to eat, and also may contain pieces of plastic. The exact way of transporting the plastic to the body of participants in this experiment are not yet installed.

According to scientists, they found “an average of about 20 micro-plastic particles for every 10 grams of feces”. They were fleshed out 9 types of plastic. Experts noted that before this the researchers had already discovered in human blood components such plastics as plasticizers and bisphenol a; however, microparticles of plastic are still in the human riobranco.Previous studies showed that the most harmful components of plastic are the chemical substance bisphenol S and bisphenol A – these substances have a negative influence on the hormone production of the body and fertility, provoke the development of disorders of lipid metabolism and the processes leading to cancer.

Earlier Magicforum wrote about a study which found that people unconsciously eat a large amount of plastic particles.
