5 Reasons We Wish Chrissy Teigen Would Write a Parenting Book

Chrissy Teigen — model, cookbook author, Twitter wise guy — is flattered you think she knows what the hell she’s doing when it comes to motherhood. In a recent Instagram post, Teigen revealed her infant son, Miles, has to wear a helmet for a while to fix the shape of his head.

“my baby bug got his head shaping helmet today!” Teigen wrote. “please don’t feel bad for him if you see photos. he is a happy bug and we’re just fixing his flat.”

“Please write a parenting book,” one commenter responded.

“girl I got no clue what I’m doing I just take it day by day lol,” Teigen replied directly to the commenter.

But we think Teigen definitely has a handle on this mom gig. And damn it, we would preorder a Chrissy Teigen parenting book. Here’s why:

1. She knows her way around kid flicks

Check out her nighttime ritual with daughter Luna. Pretty sure it will melt you like it did us.

“nightly ritual! a magic carpet sky? I dunno the words I’m old I forget,” Teigen captioned the video of Luna and herself in nightgowns dancing and singing to the Aladdin soundtrack.

2. She has priorities besides perfect pies

We are endlessly grateful to Teigen for burning the top of her marshmallow pie. Because no way could we have pulled that off either.

3. She isn’t afraid to show the completely unglamorous side of parenting

…like bathing kids in the sink (or in large Tupperware buckets)

4. She rolls with it when photo shoots & family videos don’t go quite as planned

This is going well

“This is going well,” she captioned a video in which Luna wanted an anonymous cameo and insisted Teigen stop making any references to her. Hilarious.

5. She is unapologetically herself

…especially with her husband, John Legend — and we can’t get enough.

“well well well look who decided to finally contribute to our family’s finances #ALegendaryChristmas,” she joked in this promo video for the couple’s Christmas special.

Serious #CoupleGoals, serious #MomGoals. We’re not really asking, Chrissy, but we’re sort of asking: Please, maybe consider a parenting book?
