What to cook on New year’s Pig: desserts without baking

Chocolate truffles with a surprise


  • 14 dates majholi

  • Cup almonds
  • Cup of cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • Toppings: chocolate chips, hazelnuts and/or coffee beans
  • Decoration: cocoa powder and coconut

Method of preparation

  • Remove pits from dates. Soak the dates in warm water for 5 minutes, then drain and squeeze remaining water.
  • Grind 1/2 Cup walnuts, 1/2 Cup almonds and 1/4 Cup of cocoa powder in food processor. Add the dates, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 2 teaspoons cinnamon and 1/4 teaspoon of salt and blend until until a thick, sticky dough. Remove the dough from the food processor.
  • Form the dough into small balls (about 30). Use the end of spoon to make a small hole in the truffle, and then insert the filling a surprise of your choice: chocolate chips, hazelnuts, coffee beans, or a combination. Then close the hole.
  • To decorate candies, pour on a plate of cocoa powder or coconut and vyalaya each truffle in the stuffing. Store in the refrigerator.

Chocolate pumpkin pie


  • 450 g pumpkin puree (or 1 can)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1-2 tsp cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 Cup chocolate chips
  • Sweetener of your choice, to taste

Method of preparation

  • Melt the chocolate (either on the stove or in the microwave), then throw all the ingredients in a food processor and process until smooth.
  • Pour the mixture over the cake and put the cake in the refrigerator so that it hardens.
  • When the cake hardens, remove it, slice and serve.

Chilled chocolate cake


For Korzh:

  • 2 cups pecans
  • 1/4 Cup cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 1/4 Cup maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp salt

For the mousse:

  • 2 cups avocado flesh (approx 3 small avocados)
  • 1/3 Cup almond milk (or other vegetable)
  • 2/3 Cup maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter (or other nut)
  • 1 tablespoon starch (arrowroot starch)
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 Cup 2 tablespoons chocolate chips, melted
  • 1/4 Cup cocoa powder

Method of preparation

  • Cake: grease a cake tin and place it with parchment paper. In a food processor chop the pecans. Do not overdo it, not to get the powder, the nuts should be chopped into pieces. Now add the rest of the ingredients for the crust and grind as long as they will not mix.   • Chocolate mousse: place all mousse ingredients (except chocolate chips) in a food processor. Grind until smooth. In a small bowl melt chocolate chips in microwave and add to a food processor to Moussa. Grind until smooth.
  • Remove the cake from the freezer and pour the mousse. Smooth out the mousse and then place in the freezer for 2 hours.

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 Cup brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups oat flour
  • 1/2 Cup chocolate chips

Method of preparation

  • Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper, set aside.
  • In a large bowl, melt butter and brown sugar. It will take about 1 minute. Whisk together, then add milk and vanilla.
  • As soon as you mix wet ingredients, add oatmeal and salt, and stir until then, until they will mix with the remaining ingredients. Once the dough is formed, gently add chocolate chips.
  • Using a tablespoon, measure out 2 tablespoons of dough and place them in the arm. Form a ball, then place it on a baking sheet and press down to make a more flat shape cookie.
  • Repeat the process until all the dough. On top decorate with chocolate shavings if you want.
  • Place baking sheet in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes. Enjoy!
  • Cookies can be stored in the refrigerator for no more than 10 days.

Apple caramel cheesecake



  • 3/4 Cup pecans
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • A pinch of salt
  • 2 tbsp. butter, melted


  • 3/4 Cup sugar
  • 1 (250 g) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • A pinch of nutmeg
  • 2/3 Cup applesauce
  • 2 cups whipped cream (you can use frozen or homemade whipped cream)


  • Additional whipped cream (about 2-3 cups)
  • Caramel sauce (homemade or store-bought)

Method of preparation

  • Korzh. Combine all ingredients for crust in a bowl until obtaining a uniform mass. Put 2 tablespoons of the mixture in cadoutsourceofchicago and good dub to make a cake.
  • Filling. Add the sugar, cream cheese, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a food processor and grind to mix. Add applesauce and again blend well, scraping the filling on the sides with a rubber spatula.
