Simpson took to Instagram to share photos of her hair transformation alongside her husband Eric Johnson, mom Tina Simpson, and friend and former assistant CaCee Cobb.
The length falls at waist level while above-the-brow bangs frame her face. This bold look leaves us with one question: is it dyed or is it a wig? While we are leaning towards wig, the color is a refreshing change and a bit of mystery only adds to the appeal. Plus, it conveniently matched the decor of the singer's outdoor soirée, like the rose-filled table centerpieces and the details on her birthday cake.

Over the past decade, we’ve seen Simpson rock a number of hairstyles, like a sleek bob and her signature beachy curls. This look is clearly a departure from her usual fare. Simpson seems to have gone a reddish-pinky-peach for this particular color, and yes ma'am, we're in love.
